Case management and messaging with legacy IT infratructure server-side is delivered in a intuitive and simple ajax client. B2W designed the user interface and worked with a Swedish developer team to provide a single screen interface to a rather complicated and rich application. The result is an elegant and effective tool with build-in KPI dashboard.

The process included a couple of workshops with the application owner, their business development consultant in addition to the backend and frontend developer. We went straight to Photoshop dummies and pixel perfect prototypes to provide a tool for detailed decision making and hands-on UX testing before too much effort was put into coding.

The lack of group administration and ID administration functionality in general on these platforms could get you into trouble if your employee (or even worse, freelancer) used his/her ID to establish the account.

The way to do it:

Establish at least two company roles for social media (webmaster and editor)

Establish an account for each on each platform (aternatively, use an openID setup)

Establish the pages/channels/groups you need using the appropriate account

Manage the asset by delegating the login (e.g. socialeditor@company.com)

Even better:

Do the same on a theme domain (e.g. my_industry_topic.com) to insulate the activity from the corporate identity or..

Mandate an agency (e.g. say.biz) to deliver both content and community management
